Opportunity Quilt

Sunshine Quilters members share their creativity through our Opportunity Quilt Program. We have 4 seasonal opportunity quilts and one major quilt each year. These quilts are made by our members and opportunities sold until we draw the lucky winner!

At the heart of the design are striking central star blocks, surrounded by plaid Ohio Star blocks and cozy cabin blocks that add depth, movement, and timeless charm. Bridle Path is more than a quilt—it’s a tribute to the Packhorse Librarians of the 1930s, who traveled rugged Kentucky paths on horseback to deliver books and reading materials to remote communities. Their dedication to literacy and connection inspired both the name and the spirit of this quilt.
