Join us for our lecture from Barbara Blanton. The topic of her presentation is “Better Done Than Perfect”. Surely we will all gain some great information from her!

We will also have mystery bags of fabric for our “chopped” activity. Pick up your bag so you can come back in November with your finished project!

Our first speaker on October 13 is Barbara Blanton. The topic of her presentation is “Better Done Than Perfect”. Sunshine Quilt Guild members are invited to the Chula Vista Guild’s workshop with Barbara on October 15 entitled “Nancy and Me”, which is a needle-turn applique technique class. Email Celeste McFall (email in the directory) if you are interested in attending the workshop.

This is a beginner class, perfect for those that describe it as the dreaded ‘A’ word; and those that say they do not do handwork. This block works perfectly with a large focus fabric in the middle, or a nice toile. By the end of class, you will LOVE applique, Guaranteed! And be confident with templates, overlays, circles, curves, points, and 3D buds using needle turn applique. This will set you up for success in ANY other appliqué class. Block Size: 15” x 15”.
